It’s clear that the world is moving toward a general distaste for wisdom. More and more ignorant people occupy key positions.
Even humility is lacking among the new winners: they respond with arrogance to those who point out their poor judgment.
The mechanism of idiocracy is increasingly difficult to fight, because it seems that even the market, with its commercial intelligence, is replacing the intelligence of analysis and the achievements of study with prepackaged results that will be increasingly mediocre.
I would personally be ashamed to take the high positions of those who know more than me on certain topics, but it seems that even shame has been removed from social life.
Then, in addition to wisdom, there is intelligence. Here we are in another realm of existence, where the idiot, with pride, can blame the intelligent for being intelligent.

When it comes to the digital world, idiocracy smells like authority, but it is not.
When you purchase a digital service from a professional, you’re not just paying for the finished treatment, but also for:

- equipment
- experience
- time
- punctuality
- professionalism
- security
- honesty
- wisdom
- intelligence

I can’t tell you how much this is forgotten when customers are requesting BIM activities without any understanding of BIM, asking for services that have no sense in real life.
In the end, when they are making a decision, it’s not really just about the price, it’s about the fact that they are not able to recognize the differences between poor services and quality. And sometimes the grass is greener on the other side because it’s fake.
Is my understanding sufficient for this subject or not?
In his Meditations, written between 168 e il 179 AD, Marcus Aurelius noted that based on your answer to the above question, you should take one of the following paths:

- If it is sufficient: Apply yourself to the task as a natural tool given by the universe
- If it is not sufficient: Step back and let someone who is more capable handle it, unless duty strictly demands that you do it yourself
- If duty demands it: Do the best you can, while seeking the help of others who can guide your decision-making

Whether you work alone or with others, your efforts should be directed entirely toward following your principles, contributing to society, and achieving the greater good, not just put your brain to sleep and work for your interests only.
I’m still in the process of developing the ability to be disliked in order to free myself from the prison of other people’s opinions. But when it happens, I clearly know why it happens and who are the ones they dislike.
My battle against digital idiocracy is just at the beginning, and to preserve myself (and my readers), I’m not going to stop writing.
But to the ones out there that think we are all stupid, be aware:
I am just much more than what I write, I am everything I delete…
And sooner or later, I will stop deleting words..!
